Strength Through Partnership

Hello & Welcome

Over a decade in the public sector, as an officer and an elected member has shown me the value of partnership and diversity. My approach enables clients to engage with stakeholders and community representatives ensuring social projects achieve their full potential.

Collaborative thinking is vital for development projects that affect society. I work with businesses and organisations tasked with shaping community, place and society: such as property developers; local authorities; faith communities; voluntary sector and key community groups. My experience of trusteeship of diverse community initiatives; an Arts Centre and LGBT youth charity, adds value to my skills of governance.

Ed offers an unusual combination of sound experience, specialist knowledge and lateral thinking to solve problems and meet objectives. I have had the pleasure of seeing this in action while working with Ed on initiatives such as Cambridge Conversations, an innovative forum to bring together diverse views and promote resilience; and planning projects such as North West Cambridge, when our multi faith group negotiated with developers to secure the good community facilities that they and we wanted to see in place. While I was Director of the East of England Faiths Council, Ed produced excellent guidance on optimising the faith contribution to new developments, to add to our suite of advisory literature."
